On sunday afternoon, we did a photoshoot at my office for my sis’ latest fashion collection. It was the 1st time my office’s photo studio was used for fashion photography and it was great fun! Usually, we shoot only still objects like products and flowers for our website. Fashion photography is altogether something different coz there’s a ‘live’ subject.
Anyway, the team comprised myself (the ‘model director’), my brother (the photographer), my 2nd sis (the model), her boyfriend (the assistant) and my youngest sis(the do-nothinger). But less than half way thru, I gotta run coz I’ve church to attend so the model was left to think of poses for herself.
As this was our 1st attempt at fashion photography, everything was quite a challenge, from getting the lighting right, getting the model to pose right and getting the photos right. In the end, considering that there’s no editing done to the photos as my sis was in a hurry to launch the collection on Sunday evening, the result was quite satisfactory, although I know we do have plenty of room for improvement.
