Facial Acu-Points

Facial exercise is best combined with facial acupressure. Right now, i’m preparing a how-to video on the 1st part of the facial exercise that focuses on the cheek area. So in the meantime, i think it’ll be great to get familiar with the important acu-points on our face. 

I’ve attached a chart here for illustration. Briefly, here’re the benefits of the various points:

P1, P2 - Yang Bai
Smoothen the forehead, prevent wrinkles on the forehead area. Relieve tension headache.

P3, P4 – Yu Yao
Relieves tension in the upper eye area.

P5, P6 – Tai Yang Xue
Relieve tired, swollen eyes. Improve blood circulation to the eyes. Reduce puffiness. Lifts sagging cheeks and jowls, slim and tone the face.

P7, P8 – Zhan Zhu
Relieve eye fatigue and reduce puffiness and swelling around the eye region. Soothes headaches and improve vision.

P9, P10 – Jing Ming Xue
De-stress the eye area, clear nose blockages and sinus, improve circulation.

P11, P12 – Tong Zi Liao
Improve blood circulation, prevent crowfeet.

P13, P14 – Cheng Qi Xue
Help to reduce eye bags, dark circles. Improve vision.

P15, P16 – Quan Xue
Reduces fine lines, facial puffiness and sagging. Improve definition of facial contour. Relax facial tension and numbness.

P17, P18 – Jia Che Xue
Help to lift sagging cheeks and jowl lines.

P19 – Ren Zhong
Stimulate energy to the head. Overall stimulation and activation of energy.

P20 – Cheng Jiang
Energizes the lower face area, firms and tones the chin.

P21, P22 – Di Cang
Stimulate energy around the mouth region. Tone the corners of the mouth. Prevent droopy lip corners.

P23, P24 – Da Ying
Firm and tone the chin and jawline area.

P25 – Shang Lian Quan Xue
Firm and tone the jawline. Lift the chin and prevent double chin. Lifts sagging cheeks and jowls, slim and tone overall facial contour.

    L thoroughly enjoy acupuncture and have received many benefits and positive results from treatments over the course of 20 years.

    Your diagram looks good, and information, too, but I need some more dialogue as to where exactly these points are – as I think #25 is actual in the indentation of the bottom of the chin and the drawing has it on the neck? Please give me more detailed information about how to find these points.

    Hi! Will this DVD be available to UK residents as I’m very interested in purchasing it? I would find this easier to follow compared to a set of written instructions.
